We want to create a football pitch dedicated to the next generation, with a small stand where families and the community can support them as they grow. A place to train, meet and learn to work and grow together, giving our educational vision a physical home. The project is still to be developed, with the resources and partnerships needed to bring it to life.

Talent needs opportunity.
The Catania Heritage Foundation Project combines the preservation of football heritage with a vision for sport and education. We want to create opportunities where sport, culture and a sense of belonging help young people grow, with families and the local community in mind.
Bringing generations together
We want to bring younger generations into contact with those who have first-hand experience of the game. Meeting people from Catania’s football history, hearing their stories and talking with them can make shared memories a source of learning.
Reducing barriers
Bursaries for sporting activities, transport support and shared equipment are among the measures the project aims to develop to make sport more accessible. These programmes will require dedicated resources and clear participation criteria.
Schools, neighbourhoods and community
Working with schools, associations and sports organisations is the starting point for educational and cultural initiatives. We want to bring people together to discover their city, take part in its life and feel included.
